This is an opportunity for clients of New Horizons Therapy to generalize the skills they learn in individualized treatment to their peers. Group topics such as maintaining conversations, flexibility, conflict resolution, problem solving, and making friends will be incorporated.
This unique program is designed to meet the needs of children between 1.5 - 5 years of age. Sunny Days is a 3-hour drop-off program created to intensively integrate ABA into centers such as circle time, mealtimes, structured play, and functional routines including washing hands and toileting.
An initial assessment will be completed to obtain current performance and assist in writing individualized programming. Areas will include: communication, social skills, independent functioning, decreasing challenging behaviors, and more.
